Boschendal Secures Official Wine Status for British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa
DGB, South Africa’s leading premium wine company, has secured the rights for Boschendal as the official wine partner to the much-anticipated tour by the British and Irish Lions, which will see the might of British and Irish rugby take on the Springboks as well as various provincial teams. The matches between 3 July and 7 August incorporate eight games, including three tests against the world Champion Springboks.
DGB appoints Andrew Harris as Wine Marketing Director
Harris, who joined DGB in 2019 currently holds the position of Marketing Manager, and succeeds industry stalwart Jacques Roux who is retiring after 18 years as Marketing Director.
To quote Harris: “I am excited with my new role as Marketing Director, especially as I am following in the footsteps of one of the South African wine industry’s most seasoned and accomplished marketers in Jacques Roux.”
