Boschendal is one of South Africa's original wine farms with a winemaking tradition of over 300 years, and today is a national monument with a rich and intriguing history.

Boschendal wines are well loved at home and around the world and are typically accentuated by concentrated fruit and a richly textured mouth feel. From the Boschendal favourites to our exclusive limited edition Cecil John Reserve range and Méthode Cap Classique sparkling wines, each range is meticulously crafted to deliver ultimate drinking pleasure.

The Boschendal Estate is set in the magnificent Franschhoek valley surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes and vines, making it a great tourist destination. Experience our fantastic wines at the tasting centre, languish the afternoon away at our well known picnics on the Pavillion lawns or take an historic tour through the Manor House before settling down to feast on the famous Boschendal traditional Cape buffet.
We look forward to welcoming you!

The Bellingham cellar in Wellington is a modern and progressive winery accentuated by clean architectural lines punctuated by tall palm trees. It is here that the legacy of Bellingham is continued by the current generation of winemakers who have an enduring passion to craft world-class wines.

In the cellar, the challenge presented by the different fruit, different requirements and different possibilities is made possible by the well equipped advanced facilities. Our team have the latest technology at their disposal whilst never losing sight of the abiding aim: to craft stylish, accessible and well-balanced wines which are true to their origin and varietal character.

The vinification policy is one of minimal intervention.
Time-honoured methods are combined with measured technological expertise and a particular emphasis on mouth-feel and intensity of fruit.

The Franschhoek Cellar recently received a substantial upgrade improving our capacity and equipment for a much elevated facility for making our great quality wines.
The 2010 vintage christened the revamped winery.

Vibrancy
At Franschhoek Cellar we strive to capture the authentic and vibrant soul of our beautiful wine valley. We try as far as possible to let the grapes speak for themselves with as little manipulation as possible through the winemaking process.

Diversity
As an important pillar within the Franschhoek wine community, we consider our wines ambassadors representing the true nature and diversity of this magnificent region. That is why we go to great lengths to express the true origins and character of each variety.

Authenticity
Our wines are intended for honest enjoyment without lavish clutter or complication, yet without being simple either. We advocate full ripe fruit expressions with sufficient restraint to maintain grace and charm. Oaking is always discreet and integrated.
